The Boyne City community has always been open to new opportunities and willing to try new things. The managed growth that Boyne City has enjoyed comes from thoughtful and strategic planning and a thorough understanding of what the community wants and needs. The Boyne City Main Street Program invites all board members, committee members and volunteers to join in annual goal setting session. From the goal setting, work plans are created and budgets are put into place. The City of Boyne City hosts a community wide goal setting session on a bi-annual basis, open to anyone who has an interest in the community. This session is followed by a survey that is sent to out to the general public for additional comments. The Boyne Area Chamber of Commerce meets annually with their board of directors to set goals for the coming year.
