 The Boyne City Main Street Program and Charlevoix Main Street DDA are partnering to seek a person for the position of Boyne City and Charlevoix Farmers Market Manager. Applicants should be creative, a strong self-starter, and must be able to work Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday. Duties include, but are not limited to, vendor relations, knowledge of food assistance programs, outstanding computer, communication and organizational skills, and a genuine passion for local food. Market Manager Certification through the Michigan Farmers Market Association preferred but not required. Position is year-round in Boyne City, approx. 20 hours/week. Position is seasonal/part time in Charlevoix with approximately 15 hours for 30 weeks of the year. The candidate will be a separate employee of each Main Street organization. The Next Committee meeting is the first Monday of November, 2017.

The Boyne City Farmer’s Market Executive Committee meets on the first Monday of each month between October and April (unless otherwise noted). Terms are for three years.

Meetings are held at the Park View Room upstairs in the City Hall, 10:30-noon.
