The Boyne City Main Street Program and Charlevoix Main Street DDA are partnering to seek a person for the position of Boyne City and Charlevoix Farmers Market Manager. Applicants should be creative, a strong self-starter, and must be able to work Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday. Duties include, but are not limited to, vendor relations, knowledge of food assistance programs, outstanding computer, communication and organizational skills, and a genuine passion for local food. Market Manager Certification through the Michigan Farmers Market Association preferred but not required. Position is year-round in Boyne City, approx. 20 hours/week. Position is seasonal/part time in Charlevoix with approximately 15 hours for 30 weeks of the year. The candidate will be a separate employee of each Main Street organization.
